A mobile seawater desalination system powered by solar energy and based on SWRO reverse-osmosis technology. Available in containerized or skid-mounted configurations, the system combines pretreatment, seawater reverse osmosis, remineralization and disinfection to produce water suitable for drinking or industrial use. An energy recovery device can reduce power consumption by approximately 30–40%. It is suitable for islands, coastal communities, hotels, ships, drilling platforms, military bases and remote industrial sites.
